  • Fingerprint locking comes with an app which allows you to manage your door lock.

  • Built-in doorbell.

  • Triple-glazed lamination helps reduce noise transfer and improves energy efficiency - helping reduce energy consumption. 

  • PAS 24 ensures the prevention of unauthorised access to your home.

  • Environmentally friendly.

  • The fingerprint option still comes with mechanical locking.

  • You can change the internal handle.

Negatives:

  • 10-14 week wait time, due to travel from Europe.

  • Occasionally temperamental fingerprint scanners (Due to conditions such as wet fingers)

  • Only a two-year guarantee on the fingerprint locking.

  • Often not suitable for houses close to the coast.

  • Additional costs due to the use of electricity with fingerprint locking

  • No battery pack so relies on the house as a source of electricity - will not work in a power cut. 

  • Not all of the designs available for this system will fit into a standard 900-millimetre opening; the traditional size of a new build.

  • Requires specialists for installation. 

  • Can be high priced - as additional accessories mean additional costs.
